Production & Training

The production side of this department is ever growing, we are responsible for making jingles, bedding tracks, promos and pre recorded shows. Theres always lots to do as each show needs promos and also helping aspiring DJ’s record sample shows so they can apply to the programme controller to get themselves on the air.

Training is the first thing that all new presenters have to go through, and as such it is our role to welcome them into CSR, and in doing so we aim to train them in all areas of the studios. In getting involved with training you will probably get a great feeling from training the presenters, in the knowledge that without you they simply wouldn't be able to do a show. It’s also great to get involved with training because you will be likely to have a greater knowledge of how the studio works than many others, and so if you move into the radio industry you will probably know how most of the studio works.
