The award winning and long running ‘Departures’ takes in a broad spectrum of sounds every week from the global music diaspora.  Set-lists blur the lines between global roots and modern electronics in a forward-thinking blend of styles both old and new.  From Hi-life to Moombahton, Persian funk to Nu-Swing, it brings the rhythm and culture to CSR.  Fortnightly sessions take an informed look at particular genres, and the endlessly shifting playlists present an eclectic flavour of undiscovered sounds from around the world; an audio adventure, ‘Departures’ is music with no border control.
