Blam Jam

“I’m Robin, and the name of the show stems from the first syllable of my surname, “Blamires”.
That’s the title explained although thankfully the show itself is a lot easier to get your head round.

Basically it’s the antidote to the idea that Sundays are dull and depressing, with a fantastic
selection of soulful and jazzy grooves from the last thirty or so years, and there’s quite a
few features too.

There’s the Sticky Jam where I play a forgotten dance tune from back in the day,
the Kickback Track which features an extended version of a soul/disco anthem
in it’s entireity and The Double Jam where two tracks from one artist are played
back to back.

Your output is more than welcome, and I’m always looking for new stuff
as well, signed or unsigned.

Every Sunday between 6 and 8pm the colour is brought back to Canterbury.”
