CSR FM granted licence extension until 2017

CSR FM is proud to announce it will continue to broadcast across Canterbury on 97.4FM for at least another fives years after Ofcom granted the station an extended licence until 2017.

Since launching in 2007, CSR has continued to serve the local community and provide a variety of programming outputs including daytime, specialist and speech shows. We have also managed to provide live exclusive coverage from a number of local and popular events including Keynestock, Varsity and of course – Lounge on the Farm.

In more recent times, CSR has launched two new initiatives: ‘School of the Week‘ and the John Pidgeon Speech Awards. Both of the fore mentioned highlight our commitment to local groups and our continued efforts to integrate schools, colleges and community members into the station.
